Load Cells

For measuring loads in rock bolts, strand anchors and struts.

Anchor load cells are designed to be used with a wide range of anchor and bolt diameters. They are designed to minimise the effects of eccentric loading and are available with vibrating wire, bourdon and analogue outputs.

Solid load cells are typically used in pile testing and for measuring loads on the end of struts. For this application it is recommended to use strain gauges in combination with the load cell.

Data can be obtained using a portable readout or connected into a data logger for automatic monitoring.
